Biografie

Alice and Hendrik met at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and, despite having very different musical backgrounds, enjoy performing together and combining their areas of expertise. In their concerts they bring together classical and modern music, which they themselves arrange for their instruments, jazz and folk music.

 

Hendrik Müller was born in Detmold, Germany in 1986. In a family of musicians, he started playing piano at a very young age, and later became interested in orchestra and big band music and started learning the double-bass.

He began his Bachelor studies at the HfM Hamburg in 2010 and in 2012 he moved to Amsterdam to complete his Bachelor and Master Degrees on jazz double-bass at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Hendrik works nowadays as a freelance musician, collaborating with several bands and with his own project, the Hendrik Müller Trio, where he performs together with piano and drums his own compositions.

 

Alice Allegri Rodríguez was born in 1994 in Milano, Italy. At the age of six she moved together with her family to Málaga, Spain, where she joined the local music school and started learning the flute. At the age of 18, in 2012, she moved to Amsterdam to begin her Bachelor studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the class of prof. Kersten McCall. In 2019 she graduated from her Master studies, and now she works as a freelance musician and music teacher based in Amsterdam.
