Biografie

Born in Portugal, Juliana began her musical studies at the age of 6, playing several instruments until she started having singing lessons with Ângela Alves. After finishing her vocal studies in the Conservatório de Música de Coimbra with Joaquina Ly, she enrolled in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she is currently at the 3rd year Bachelor Degree, with Pierre Mak.
Juliana was part of several choirs. As a soloist she won scholar competitions and consequently performed solo with Orquestra Clássica do Centro. She gave life to Susanna (“Le Nozze di Figaro”, W.A.Mozart) and to the 1st Witch (“Dido and Aeneas”, H. Purcell) and she has worked with António Salgado, João Paulo Santos, Pierre Mak, Ira Siff, Sasja Hunnego, Claron Mcfadden and Jeff Cohen.
She has a Master Degree on Clinical Psychology by the University of Coimbra.
