Biografie

Ozaandu is het resultaat van muzikale samensmelting vlakbij de Zaan, van een hoboïst en een fluitist uit Catalonië – beide masterstudenten aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Het repertoire van Ozaandu strekt zich uit van renaissance tot hedendaags. Het duo streeft ernaar de zeldzame combinatie fluit-hobo en het repertoire daarvoor meer bekendheid te geven.

Marti Santacana Plana (Reus, Catalonië, 1991) begon met fluiten op 7 jarige leeftijd in Vilaseca, Spanje, met Xavier Pomerol. Op zijn zeventiende verhuisde hij naar Barcelona, waar hij zijn prebachelor afrondde op het BRUC Conservatorium.

In 2016 heeft hij zijn bachelor moderne fluit afgerond op het Liceu Conservatorium ter Barcelona, en was geaccepteerd aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam voor zijn masterstudie. In Amsterdam heeft hij kennis gemaakt met historische instrumenten onder Prof. Marten Root, en sindsdien heeft hij veel ervaring opgedaan op Renaissance, Barok, Klassiek, en Romantische fluiten. Hij heeft meegedaan met cursussen en lessen van o.a. Jacques Zoon, Emily Beynon, Silvia Careddu, Davide Formisano, Pirmin Grehl, en Vicens Prats.

In zowel 2014 en 2015 won hij de 2e prijs in de Barcelona Arjau Concours in de solo en kamermuziek categorien.

Als orkestmusicus heeft hij opgetreden met De Nederlandse Bachvereniging, Sweelinck Barokorkest, Metropole Orkest Academie, JOIC Youth Orchestra en Collegium Musicum Berlijn. Hij was ook lid van het Nederlands Jeugd Orkest (NJO) van 2016 tot 2018.

Cèlia Tort Pujol (Vic, Catalonia, 1995) started her musical education in the music school and conservatory of Vic. With Joan Rubinat and Ferran Anglí, she learnt how to play piano and oboe, respectively.

She studied the bachelor of that last instrument in Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu, in Barcelona, with César Altur de los Mozos and Daniel Fuster Navarro. At the same time, she was conducting a children’s choir of her hometown and doing a Humanities degree at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona).

Nowadays, she is doing her oboe master studies in Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Ernest Rombout and Miriam Pastor Burgos. At the same time, as a master’s profile, she is a member of the “Creative Performance Lab (CPL)”, a laboratory of interdisciplinary creation in which she can work with different people from the Dutch and European artistic scene and premiere performances in different cultural locations of Amsterdam.

She plays with ensembles and orchestras from Catalonia and The Netherlands, performing around Europe. She also has eleven years of dance education, combining ballet and contemporary dance.
