Biografie

St Nicholas Catholic High School Chamber Choir are one of 4 choral groups in the school but is the only auditioned group and ranges in age from 12-18.

We perform in concerts both in school and the local community as well as taking part in competitions.

For the past 5 years we have been invited to perform with the Northern Chamber Orchestra at their Christmas concert at a local stately home.

Our repertoire ranges from Classical acapella pieces such as Ola Gjeilo`s Ubi Caritas to pop classics such as Bohemian Rhapsody.

Our instrumental ensembles include a small orchestra, a flute ensemble and a clarinet ensemble. Like our choirs these groups perform a wide variety of music ranging from Bach to Coldplay!
