Eduardo Paredes Crespo
Bolivian/Brazilian violinist Eduardo Paredes began his musical studies in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Aged 14 he received a scholarship from the Rotary Club that made it possible to study and live in the Netherlands, where he then studied with Hans Scheepers, Ofer Falk,Gordan Nikolic, Joan Berkhemer and graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory with a Master of Music degree in 2010.
He has received regular coaching from P. Vernikov, Robert Cohen, J. Rouvier, D. Ferschtman, Per Nystrom and from the members of the Vermeer, Fine Arts, Alban Berg and Parkanyi quartets.
Eduardo has performed in several countries in South America, Europe, in South Africa Africa, China and Thailand, both as chamber musician and soloist, having given recitals in Carnegie Hall(Weill recital hall 2008) in New York and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw among others.
He plays chamber music together with the Stanislavsky String Quartet, pianotrio 258 and contemporary music with the New European Ensemble, in various festivals and in the Aurora Chamber Orchestra which is based in Sweden. He also conducts and leads a string orchestra in Amsterdam, and enjoys teaching.
In 2018 he was finalist of the World Debut auditions of the New York Concert Artists and prize winner at IBLA competition.
