Biografie

María Cano Blanco started to study piano when she was five years old with the teacher Carmen de la Cruz Borrego. Later she studied in the Conservatory of Almendralejo (Badajoz, Spain) with the teachers Helena García Moreno and Juan Antonio Grillo.

María studied Bachelor with Alexander Kandelaki in the Conservatory of Badajoz for four years. Now she study her master in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teacher David Kuyken.
Over those years, she has done concerts in Spain, Portugal and Hungary. Also, she has studied with important pianists and teachers like Nino Kereselidze, Ángel Sanzo, Claudio Martínez Menher, Marta Gulyas, Mariana Gurkova, Luís Fernando Pérez and Luca Chiantore.

She won prizes like the first prizes in the Young Talent Competition of Extremadura in the category of soloist pianist and chamber music, the third prize in the Competition of Cáceres.
