Richard He




Richard R. He is a Swedish-born pianist and composer who is currently residing in Belgium. He has been awarded numerous awards, including the first prize in Berlingskes Klassiske Musikkonkurrence 2013 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the second prize in Steinway Festival 2014 in Stockholm, Sweden. As a composer, he is the winner of deSingel Ringtone Competition 2019 in Antwerp, Belgium.

His music has been performed by renowned musicians. In November 2019, the quartet ZWERM will perform his music in Gent, Belgium. As a pianist, he has performed as a soloist in Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium, Lithuania, Austria and China.

He’s currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp with Prof. Sergei Edelmann, Wim Henderickx and Alain Craens. He has previously studied with Ass.Prof. Marianne Jacobs, Malmö and Joël Bons, Amsterdam (winner of the Grawemeyer Award 2019). He has attended masterclasses in Denmark, England, Austria and Lithuania with tutors such as Eugene Indjic (Paris), Niel Immelman (London), Andreas Frölich (Köln), Vera Nosina (Moscow), Christian Oefenbauer (Salzburg).
